Tipping Your Travel Planner

I think it is fair to assume that most of you reading this right now are checking to see if there are any strings attached to my Itinerary Building service. You’ll be happy to learn that the answer to that question is “No!”

Helping fellow travelers is a true passion of mine. It is not easy to plan everything yourself even if you have traveled before, much less if you are a travel “noob.” That is why I offer my services for free- to encourage people to travel more!

As I am making no money on the advice that I give, a simple way to show your appreciation is through a tip if you are able and willing to do so. This tip will help the site grow and will help attract even more travelers needing a little guidance. These tipping amounts given below are only for reference and are by no means set numbers. After we have worked together to create a plan for your next adventure you may opt to give more than the recommended amount, less than that, or nothing at all. These numbers are also less than what a travel agent would be making in commission on your vacation, and also less than the amount you will save by having somebody guide you through the planning process. Talking to someone experienced in travel saves you time as well as gives you peace of mind.

  • $5-$10 for general question asking and travel advise.
  • $40-$60 for a personalized travel itinerary lasting up to a week, complete with recommendations on accommodation, restaurants, and activities, a budget plan, a packing list, and general preparation guidance.
  •  $50-$80 for a personalized travel itinerary lasting from two weeks or more, complete with recommendations on accommodation, restaurants, and activities, a budget plan, a packing list, and general preparation guidance.

Remember, the tip is all up to you! I am happy to assist you either way. Travel is possible for you and I want to help you get there. Contact me if you are ready to start a conversation about your next adventure:
